The 4.6 M earthquake occurred in Pacitan, East Java

LiputanNet. An earthquake measuring 4.6 magnitude occurred in Pacitan, East Java. The epicenter was at sea.
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), through its official Twitter account, @infoBMKG, said the earthquake occurred on Tuesday (12/18/2018), at 13.21 WIB.
"The epicenter was at sea 93 km southeast of Pacitan," wrote the BMKG.

This earthquake is at a depth of 10 kilometers. While the earthquake coordinates are at 9.02 South Latitude and 111.17 East Longitude.

The felt earthquake (MMI) on a scale II-III in Trenggalek, East Java. Skala II means that vibrations are felt and light objects are hanging swaying. While on the MMI III scale, vibrations were felt as if a truck had passed.

There has been no information regarding the impact of the earthquake on the community.
